The cover is made of Polyurethane, which last for a long time, and is stamped with Soso Moongoo's signature digging shovel logo in gold color. 

The papers are Be Seven 83gsm, which provides smooth writing feeling, no ink spread, clear ink writing, and no see through on the papers. 

Gilding is applied on the side of the papers, which provides classical look on the notebook, while it prevents paper discoloration by the air by blocking it. 

Coral Reef comes with gold gilding, Black Sand comes with silver gilding.

Sewn Softcover allows easy 180 degree opening.
